Most people think alopecia is “just hair loss.”
But if you really watch this… it’s about identity, confidence, and how people are treated when they don’t look the way society expects.
This film hit hard because it shows what so many clients quietly go through:
– the stares
– the assumptions
– the pressure to “fix it”
– and the strength it takes to show up anyway
Alopecia isn’t rare. It’s just rarely talked about in an honest way.
As someone who works with hair loss every day, I see both sides:
✔ the emotional weight
✔ and the transformation that happens when someone finally feels like themselves again
And that transformation doesn’t always mean “getting your hair back.”
Sometimes it’s about options, control, and confidence—on your terms.
If you’ve ever dealt with hair loss (even a little), I’d love to know:
👉 What was the hardest part for you—the physical change, or how people treated you?
Let’s talk about it.
