Music brings everyone together! 🎶 We had a great afternoon welcoming the Milano Senior Center Singing Group for a combined sing-along with our residents. Led by Rosana, it was an upbeat, toe-tapping session that had everyone smiling and singing along. We love collaborating with our Melrose senior community!

Our residents recently took a trip to PAWS Wakefield to deliver the remaining pet supplies collected during our Pet Supply Drive. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, donations were so plentiful that PAWS volunteers made two trips to Melrose Station before the drive even ended!

This outing was also part of our ongoing Meet the Owner Series, where residents enjoyed learning the story behind the organization and the important work they do. As a special touch, our residents also handcrafted several blankets to help keep our little furry friends cozy. 🐾

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at our Taste of Culture event featuring the countries of Italy, Greece, and Lebanon. Guests sampled a variety of savory and sweet native dishes, refreshing beverages, and enjoyed lively accordion music by Morgan Packard. A beautiful afternoon celebrating culture, cuisine, and community!

As a special favor, guests took home a charming mini travel suitcase filled with mints — a sweet little reminder of our journey around the world together.

Our sister community, Otter Creek in Middlebury, VT, had a packed house for an Intergenerational Reading Event in collaboration with the Vermont Literacy Network. Former Mister Rogers' Neighborhood star, Francois Clemmons, led story time and songs to teach kids about the importance of belonging and community. Our community was bursting with color, rhythm, and joy during our Bollywood dance experience led by the wonderful Rhea! Residents enjoyed an engaging workshop and lively performance, complete with beautiful bangles and bindis to choose from. After dancing the afternoon away, everyone celebrated with fresh Indian pastries and a signature mocktail. A truly vibrant day full of fun and flavor!
