I’ve developed & taught seminars through the years all over the country but having my abstract accepted for the virtual talks at International Pediatric Feeding Disorders Conference was a huge deal for me. Getting the final product pulled together is even more of a huge deal & this little talk is just the start of the ideas being developed into an in depth practice course that will change the way we think of breathing during feeding and swallowing therapy.
It was a long week dragging through an upper respiratory illness and asthma flare, re-records, coffee spills, but we did it! Deadlines were met and the first iteration a mini talk 20 minutes detailing “Breathing for Better Eating” being finished!
Recorded, edited, and scheduled for March with the Virtual Feeding Matters course goes live. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to bring these concepts to a broad audience with specific interest in pediatric feeding disorders. I’ll be in AZ for the Feeding Matters in person conference too, if you’re there come find me :)
