🌼 Loving Yourself Is ReWilding Yourself
This past month reminded me that self-love is not always about routines, discipline, or having everything figured out.
Sometimes, loving yourself means becoming untethered, wandering. Traveling 🌎
Taking a break from survival mode.
Letting go of fear, judgment, comparison, and overworking.
Remembering that you belong to yourself first.
Moving from nomad life to homestead life has been a difficult transition. I’ve been trying to build a life in a chaotic economy, survive with a niche business, and find belonging in a hearing, able-bodied world.
But travel reminds me that I am still wild.
Still soft.
Still becoming.
Loving myself is taking breaks from surviving and allowing the journey to lead me back home to myself.
I’m incredibly grateful for the ability to travel, to see beautiful places, to connect with beautiful people, and to remember that life is not only about surviving. Thank you, humans and more than human world for accompanying me on this journey.
Gratitude to the land protectors, Huetar peoples of Costa Rica and Cheyenne, Arapho, and Utes for protecting the land I travel on.
[ID: A carousel of photos from my personal journey: me hugging myself with tenderness, a sketch of my original logo, a peaceful Costa Rica landscape, me at the beach wearing a hat, the red rocks of Colorado, and a candid weary traveler face. Together, these images reflect self-love, wandering, exhaustion, beauty, nature, and the journey of rewilding myself.]
