What a fun week so far! We hosted our annual open house tea with the Fitch Home Association on Sunday and celebrated Cinco de Mayo on Monday with music, maracas and Margaritas! Next up - a miniature horse visit on Wednesday! So happy spring has finally sprung...now we just need some more sun!

Baby goats, chicks, pigs, guinea pigs, bunnies...Oh my!!
What an adorable and cuddly day this was! Animal Craze visited The Fitch - Senior Living on Ell Pond and let us hold a variety of baby animals. The Fitch Home Association organized this wonderful event and we can't thank them enough for all the smiles and warm fuzzies! We wish we could keep them all!

What a fun day celebrating Halloween! The Montessori school visited and performed the "Thriller" dance for our residents and staff and then Barry Scott from The Lost 45s with Barry Scott at lost45.com did Trivia and Halloween tunes at our Halloween party. Residents then wrapped up the evening handing out candy to the little ghouls and goblins in the neighborhood! Until next year!

We celebrated Queen Trudy at The Fitch - Senior Living on Ell Pond yesterday. This amazing woman turned 105 Years Young!!

Many of her favorite things that helped celebrate her day: Strawberry shortcake like she had as a child, her favorite outfit, beautiful flowers and decorations, entertainment and singing to some of her favorite songs and most importantly, her family and Rev. Mortimer from the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church and all the staff and residents showering her with an abundance of so much love and well wishes.

We love you Trudy and are so happy to have shared your very special day with you!

All characters were out today! DJ Barry Scott of "The Lost 45s" at http://www.lost45.com came by to play some spooky favorites and we had a Montessori visit with a wonderful dance presentation of 'Thriller'.

We ALL had fun celebrating Oktoberfest on Friday at The Fitch - Senior Living on Ell Pond. The food was amazing from the Bavarian Pretzels to the homemade German Chocolate cake. (Thank you Glendale Dining Services, Inc.!!)
The "Lederhosen Ladies" made a special appearance in the dining room as well!
