•Smooth PDO Threads are inserted with a fine needle into a topically numbed area. They containing a hair thin thread made from a complex sugar polydioxanone or PDO - a safe suture material used in surgical procedures. Over weeks to months the PDO thread dissolves and as it is absorbed, collagen is formed in its place creating a tightening and rejuvenation of the skin. Smooth PDO Threads are different than lifting “barbed” threads in that while they both stimulate collagen, smooth threads are not used to lift skin.
