Thank you Memphis for supporting our brave women and men in blue!
Dozens of corporate & individual sponsors made our annual We’ll Have a Blue Christmas event magical this year. We lit the bridge blue, ran several billboards, delivered a delicious meal at every precinct, acquired 18 paid commercial spots, donated a performance logo shirt to every officer, & surprised every precinct with a community events cooler. 💙🎄

Our work always encompasses one core value: to provide moral support to our Memphis police officers. We want to provide something enduring for our MPD who devote their lives, safety, time, and energy to keeping our city safe and peaceful. Because you stepped in as a donor, we have been able to fulfill this mission this past Christmas!

You have helped us on our way to building a long-lasting and sustainable support system for our MPD, and we could not be more grateful. You made the cards, cookies, supplies, meals, and more happen! All of these things help our police officers better uplift and protect our communities.

The youth activities program offers children of Memphis between the ages of 4 and 14 the opportunity to cheerlead or to play football on precinct teams in the while being mentored by police officers and community volunteers. Through monetary donations procured by Back the Blue 901 and Varsity Spirit () players and cheerleaders have been given the opportunity to wear new and amazing uniforms without the typical rental or purchase fees. In total, 106 football uniforms and 25 cheerleader outfits plus accessories were donated to the MPD Mount Moriah Station for their Roadrunners program.

We are always so happy to support youth programs, as they help build trusting relationships with law enforcement and their surrounding communities. Through your donations, we can help fund actions such as this that nurture the bond between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Thank you to all the Back the Blue patrons who made this happen!! The pictures were taken at the September 16, 2023 game.
