Congratulations to Josh Greer for his 8th Walkin' In Memphis fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Association of Memphis & the Mid-South (DSAM)! Josh walks 21 miles every March 21st (World Down Syndrome Day) in honor of his daughter, Marley, who has Down Syndrome. Josh stops at 21 locations to celebrate Marley "and all the wonderful individuals with Down Syndrome who enrich our lives every day!" His goal each year is to raise, of course, $21,000, and he's been very successful! Way to go, Josh!

For the past two years, Josh has included The Miracle League of Memphis' soon-to-be baseball field as one of his stops. We are honored to be included in his walk and honored to share in the joy DSAM brings to everyone. The Miracle League of Memphis loves DSAM!

Each year the Memphis Arts Collective Holiday Market honors a non-profit organization, and we are pleased and excited that they have decided to honor us for the second year in a row! If you are looking for one-of-a-kind holiday presents, this is the place to go. Local artists’ work of all sorts will be on sale, as well as an ongoing silent auction that directly supports the Miracle League of Memphis. Many of the Christmas decorations for sale at our table were made by the players who the funds will directly support by helping us build an accessible baseball field. You can also buy Miracle League of Memphis merchandise including t-shirts and our popular dugout mugs! The Holiday Market runs Mondays-Saturdays 11:00 am - 7:00 pm and Sundays 12:00 - 5:00 pm, now through December 24th. Our silent auction closes December 17th. The new location this year is 4998 Summer Avenue, next to Knowledge Tree. Please check out this amazing seasonal crafts fair to support local artists and the Miracle League of Memphis! Thanks so much to Webb Smith for inviting the Miracle League of Memphis to participate in last Saturday's KIDS FEST at LeBonheur Children's Hospital! Hundreds of families were involved in activities ranging from bocce ball to dancing to pickleball to a Walk with a Doc. Such a great event and so much fun!

LeBonheur Children’s Hospital and Healthier 901 are teaming up to encourage children and families of all abilities to get moving. Join us for Kids Fest, powered by Healthier 901, on Saturday, April 13 from 2-4 p.m. on LeBonheur Green for a free, fun-filled day. The event features activities the entire family can enjoy with adaptive sports, games, pickleball, soccer, face paint, and much more! We'll see you there!
