So many black mothers suffer in silence through the mental load of motherhood. PPD and PPA are very real and often are caught much later for mothers of color. Society continues to push the narrative that black women don’t deserve the right to be treated with the same love and care as other cultures. At AIH we say the complete opposite. Black mothers need help and support all the same!
