Why Do Your Eyes Water?
Watery eyes don’t always mean you have too many tears. In many cases, it’s actually the opposite.

The dry eye paradox: When your eyes are dry or irritated, your body can overcompensate by producing excess tears. These reflex tears don’t have the right balance to stay on the eye, so they spill over instead of helping.

Wind, cold air, and even bright sunlight can trigger tearing. Your eyes are trying to protect themselves from drying out or irritation.

Pollen and other outdoor allergens can cause inflammation, itching, and watering. If your eyes feel itchy along with tearing, allergies are often the cause.

When to get it checked:
If your eyes are constantly watering, feel irritated, or your vision is affected, it may be more than just environment. Chronic dry eye, blocked tear ducts, or allergies may need treatment.
