Here are 4 ways to keep your heart healthy:
1. Move more! 👟
Moving 30 minutes a day (going on a walk, doing jumping jacks, dancing around the kitchen) will keep your heart in tip-top shape!
2. Eat healthy foods! 🥕
Some of the best foods for your heart health are: vegetables, fruits, whole grains, fish, poultry, and nuts!
3. Improve your sleep! 😴
Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night.
4. Quit smoking! 🚬
Quitting is hard, but you can do it! There are many free resources that can help (like betobaccofree.hhs.gov or smokefree.gov .)
