I scrolled past this picture today as I was looking for another picture and thought: wow how crazy is it that we are more accepting of our family members drinking another animal's milk other than our own!?

I really feel so blessed to be able to do this work! Walking alongside families throughout their pregnancy and birth journey has been one of my favorite things I've ever done!

Each family and journey is so different and I learn something new every single time. Thank you to all the families that have invited me into their sacred space 🫶🏾. Each of you has a special place in my ❤️.

Continue to share with others the power of doulas. Continue to encourage your friends and family to add a doula to their birth plans. There is so much we just do not know about pregnancy and birth until it happens and the support a doula provides is so vital.

Even if it's not me, GET A DOULA!

⁉️Did you know that a doula is there to support the birthing person AND the partner?!

I love this picture because it's a literal example of me supporting both parents during labor. An exhausted mom was leaning on an exhausted dad as me (the exhausted doula lol) was helping to hold them both up during her contractions.

Other practical ways I have helped partners:
✨ Picked up dinner for them and the in laws
✨ Stayed up with laboring mom throughout the night so dad could get sleep
✨ Helped dad navigate the frustrating unknowns of having a newborn
✨ Supported mom during labor while dad was away in the military
✨ Stayed with laboring mom at the hospital while dad went home to get forgotten items and food

Hiring a doula for your birth is one of the best things you can do to support the WHOLE FAMILY, not just the birthing person.

Allow me to support your family through the journey 🫶🏾.

If you're anything like me, you are already thinking about where your kiddo(s) will go this summer once school is out. is hosting a Camp Expo in less than a month! This is a great time to discover many of the camps offered throughout Memphis.

And let me tell you-- these camps fill up QUICKLY! March may seem too soon, but trust me it's never too early!
