The power of prayer. Just a week and a half ago the Doctor in charge of McKenna-Rose at NMMC Women’s Hospital said it didn’t look good as her stats continued to deteriorate. She was really really sick! Then two days later they found the cause to be two abscesses in her liver and rushed her to Le Bonheur. All this 8 days after she was born.

At the beginning of this week she had a procedure done to drain the abscesses and was put on life support relying on a ventilator to do the breathing for her. And exactly 8 days after getting to Le Bonheur she seemingly can’t get enough breast milk, was taken off of assisted oxygen, no fevers, stats staying in normal ranges, and if all continues to go well she may be able to come home on the 15th (Wednesday) when her 14 day antibiotic treatment is completed if there are no other problems. God is good. Thank you for all your prayers!
