Allison is highly empathic, down to earth, and a strong believer in the "medicinal" properties of humor. This helps her to create a space that feels safe, warm, and nonjudgmental for people with all kinds of backgrounds and concerns. Her greatest clinical strengths lie in working with anxiety and OCD, depression, & teens and young adults. Other areas of focus include general stress and life transitions, self-esteem and identity work, premarital counseling, and supporting LGBTQ+ clients’ overall mental health. Allison uses a systemic perspective that is trauma-informed and personalized to each client, drawing from an array of clinical approaches (including CBT, DBT, ERP, mindfulness, and solution-focus). Allison completed her Bachelor's in Psychology at Rhodes College and her Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy at The Family Institute at Northwestern. She has had extensive experience in both private practice and PHP/IOP settings. Allison has been seeing clients at our Memphis location for over two years and she will now begin seeing clients at our Bartlett office.

Ariel holds a MS in Mental Health Counseling from University of Memphis as well as a BA in Psychology from Oglethorpe University. Ariel works with teens, adults, and families in counseling on a wide variety of issues including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma. Ariel enjoys working with the BIPOC community and making mental health services more accessible for these clients. Ariel works helps her clients to learn to tell their own stories in order to help them learn how to achieve their goals.
