On today’s episode of Reel Tip Tuesdays!
Exercising at the gym can feel very intimidating if you have no clue what you’re doing. I’m going to always suggest hiring a professional to get the result you want, but if you need to DIY this thang, here’s a good start:
🏋🏽♀️ Choose 6-8 movements for your entire workout. Yes, the entire workout. Choose movements that target whatever you’re working on for that day.
🏋🏽♀️ Complete a total of 18-24 total sets (that’s all movements combined) with 8-12 reps per set for strength or 12-20 reps per set for toning. If you’re trying to grow in size, that’s another talk for another day. Come back later.
🏋🏽♀️ Choose a weight that will challenge you to complete the last three reps on every set. Don’t be afraid to go heavier. Your body can tolerate a lot. Just be sure not to compromise form for the sake of intensity.
And boom 💥 you got a lil workout. Now, like a said, rely on a professional to take you to the next level. But this can be a good start for most ppl.
