The New Menopause book club was a certified success! 📚 here are the top takeaways our listeners went home with:

👩‍⚕️Women’s health is woefully underfunded and under-researched (thankfully, Züp is making moves to change that, so stay tuned).

❤️‍🩹 There are many more menopause symptoms than just hot flashes and mood swings. Anything from itching to dizzy spells to hair growth can come as a result of perimenopause or menopause.

Ode to a patient’s best friend. 🐶

Studies show that spending just 10 minutes with a dog can lower your cortisol levels and reduce blood pressure. For patients with white coat syndrome (that spike in anxiety at the doctor’s office), a wagging tail and a little nuzzle can go a long way.
