How often do we race after goals that don’t inspire us? How often do we follow in footsteps that take us somewhere we don’t care to be? We are all influenced by outside factors — what we should want, who we should be, what success looks like.
How often do you pause, go within, and understand what it is you really want? When you erase “should” and embrace your unique desires you see what you really want, you really are, and what a successful life looks and feels like to YOU.
To understand the purpose of our life we look within. Not at our friends, neighbors, family, or the world at large. We go within and uncover what it is we really aspire to. What leads YOU to a life that is meaningful? Joyful? Fulfilling?
The four Purusharthas provide a roadmap to achieving that life. The one that goes beyond the ego of “should” and delights your heart.
🌟 Dharma 🌟
Dharma is your purpose. When your inner and outer worlds are in alignment — when your conscious and unconscious thoughts, your words, and your actions are in alignment, you’re living your purpose. Dharma changes throughout your life. It is a continuous commitment to self-discovery. It’s what we’re here to learn and embody. It is our offering of self to the world that no other person can express in quite the same way.
🌟 Artha 🌟
Artha is the means by which you achieve your purpose. Dharma doesn’t just happen. Artha is the practical part — what do you need to in order to live your purpose? Resources, skills, good health. Artha is the reality check that allows you to actually make your Dharma happen.
🌟 K**a 🌟
K**a is your joy and pleasure. The activities, communities, and places that open you up, connect you, and make you feel alive. Joy on all levels of your being.
🌟 Moksha 🌟
Moksha is Freedom. True personal liberation. Freedom from emotional conditioning and fears that holds you back from living the life you love. The one that is in alignment with your Dharma — no “shoulds” and no shame. To be free is to be totally, authentically, blissfully yourself.
