Church Health provides quality, affordable healthcare for working, uninsured people and their families. Thanks to a broad base of financial support from the faith community, and the volunteer help of doctors, nurses, dentists and others, Church Health has grown to become the largest faith-based healthcare organization of its type in the country. Currently, we care for more than 58,000 patients of record without relying on government funding. The average visit costs about $25.

Due to weather predictions which would make a run unsafe, the Crosstown 5k/10k set for Saturday is now a virtual run. That means no slipping and sliding on snow and ice, but runners can run on a treadmill or in a neighborhood within a week and time themselves on an app (info on the virtual procedures will be sent to registrants byStart2Finish.)

Meanwhile packet pick ups set for Thursday at Campbel Clinic, Friday at Southern Security FCU and Fleet Feet are postponed until next week, January 29 and 30. Additionally, Church Health is hosting a tee shirt pick up in the West Atrium on January 30 from 4 - 6 pm for those preferring to come to Crosstown. This may also involve beverages and snacks. More on this soon.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and most of all, thanks you for your support of Church Health.

January is Cervical Health Awareness Month 💙

Cervical Cancer is a preventable disease with vaccination and appropriate screenings. Here at Church Health, we are doing our part to help stop cervical cancer!

Currently, over 72 percent of Church Health patients are up-to-date on their cervical cancer screenings! That means 2,697 patients aged 21 to 64, have received life-saving and preventative care.

Thanks to our partners Shelby County Health Department, Tennessee Department of Health and American Esoteric Laboratories for providing the Tennessee Breast and Cervical Program, which provides free mammograms and pap tests for all eligible women living in the Shelby County area.

Contact your provider to schedule your Well Woman Exam today. Together, we can work towards a future without Cervical Cancer!

🥳Sending our heartfelt gratitude to this community for helping carry forward our mission to ensure our patients are cared for with dignity. Because of supporters like you, we raised $553,000, enough to treat 2,458 patients who might otherwise go unseen. That means 2,458 Memphians will begin 2026 by receiving high-quality healthcare. January is Glaucoma Awareness Month! According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness in the United States. It can often go unnoticed for years because many people don’t experience early symptoms. That is why it is so important to schedule your routine eye exams!

Our vision is irreplaceable, and together, we can help more Memphians keep their sight. Church Health's Eye Care Clinic is here to ensure that we can prevent more vision loss in Shelby County.
