Meet Elise: our newest team member at Ferren! She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years experience in working with various populations such as community mental health, young adults experiencing perceptual differences, and those who need assistance in navigating life’s transitions. Elise offers in-person counseling at the Midtown location for people ages 18 and above, providing appointments outside of traditional office hours. She is EMDR trained and her therapeutic approach is trauma focused, person-centered, and meets individuals where they are with unconditional positive regard.

Our Story

Located in the heart of the Cooper Young district in Midtown Memphis, Ferren Family Counseling offers individual, family, group and couples therapy, specializing in trauma- informed and client- centered care. Additionally, we are dedicated towards creating a safe, judgment-free environment for our clients. We are available to work with individuals ages 6 and older, dealing with a spectrum of concerns, and prepared to work with clients of all ethnicities, backgrounds, and sexual identities.
