May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it’s a time to talk about the things people don’t always see.
Hair loss is often viewed as something purely physical—but for many, it’s deeply connected to mental and emotional well-being. Stress, anxiety, trauma, and major life changes can all impact the body in ways we don’t always expect… including hair loss.
And when it happens, it can feel overwhelming.
It’s not “just hair.”
It’s identity. It’s how we show up in the world.
We want to gently remind anyone going through this: it is not a reflection of how hard you’re trying or how well you’re coping. Our bodies respond to life in complex ways, and not everything is within our control.
At Studio 2, we are deeply dedicated to being a safe, supportive space for anyone walking through this journey. From the moment you walk through our doors, our goal is to create an environment where you feel respected, cared for, and never judged. We understand that this experience is personal, and we meet you with compassion, patience, and honesty every step of the way.
Whether you’re just starting to notice changes or have been navigating hair loss for some time, you don’t have to do it alone. We’re here to listen, to guide, and to support you in a way that feels right for you.
This month—and every month—let’s lead with kindness. You never know what someone may be going through. 💛
