The inaugural cohort elected to our Memphis Medical Society Hall of Fame represent the deep talent and passion at the heart of the Memphis medical community. As we approach our 150th Anniversary Gala this coming Saturday, we will celebrate the iconic physicians that were nominated and elected by their peers this year.

Our facility was privileged to host the Shelby County Fire Department for a comprehensive training exercise. The opportunity to utilize whole-body donors provided them with a unique and realistic learning experience that cannot be replicated through simulations. This type of hands-on training is essential for developing the critical skills necessary to protect our community.

Whole-body donation plays a vital role in advancing medical education and research. In addition to supporting groundbreaking discoveries, it also provides invaluable training opportunities for first responders like the Shelby County Fire Department.
