We know that choosing whole, minimally processed foods is better for our health. However, if your schedule is jam packed or you don’t enjoy cooking, then save this post for some quick Dietitian-approved freezer meals. Sometimes it’s just not feasible to cook every meal fresh so keeping a few quick meals in your freezer can save time and help you stick to your nutrition goals.

Tips when picking out a freezer meal:
1. Look for a low sodium meal that contains less than ~600 mg per serving.
2. Choose meals that have ~20g of protein.
3. Opt for choices that contain more veggies.

Don’t forget you can ADD to your freezer meal. If you find a meal that’s adequate in protein but lacking in veggies, throw in whatever fresh, frozen, or canned veggies you have on hand to bump up the nutrient content.

Sirea holds a B.S in Exercise Science and a B.A in Teaching, specializing in Physical Education. With a passion for fitness, she has earned certifications as a personal trainer, nutrition coach, and stretching and flexibility coach. Her favorite workout involves delving into various squat techniques, embracing the strength and power they unleash in both body and mind.

Driven by a desire to empower others, Sirea became a personal trainer to inspire individuals to embrace happiness and cultivate a vibrant, healthy lifestyle. She is dedicated to helping her clients break free from the constraints of sedentary living, steering them away from the illnesses and injuries that can arise from a lack of movement.

In her leisure time, Sirea finds joy in the rhythm of dance and the thrill of roller skating, where she expresses her zest for life and the joy of movement.
