Today we are highlighting Community Pharmacists and all the ways they care for our pediatric patients.

More than 90% of Americans live within 5 miles of a pharmacy and patients visit their community pharmacist 12 times more frequently than their P*P. The community pharmacy is a convenient access point of healthcare services for pediatric patients and their parents and/or caregivers. Whether providing advice on OTC selection and/or dosing, administering routine and seasonal vaccinations, or educating on medication safety and administration, community pharmacy team members are one of the most patient-facing forms of healthcare, and are key members of patients care team.
