This Halloween, consider making your porch more accessible for children with low vision. A few simple steps can make a big difference:

• Brighten your walkway and entry with clear lighting
• Highlight stairs and railings with reflective tape
• Keep pathways free of clutter and debris
• Limit loud noises or sudden movements
• Avoid jump scares that could startle trick-or-treaters
• Place candy bowls on tables at an easy-to-reach height
• Remove or secure loose mats or rugs
