It's Pharmacy Appreciation Week! We're celebrating our entire pharmacy team.

From our pharmacists to our pharmacy technicians to our patient assistance coordinators, these professionals make comprehensive behavioral health care possible for Shelby County residents.

We're bursting with pride to announce that Alliance Healthcare Services has been named 2025 Peer Conference Agency of the Year!

This recognition reflects the dedication of our entire team in providing compassionate, peer-driven support across Shelby County.

But our incredible Peer Center Supervisor, Marta Hernandez, was also honored as Peer Mentor of the Year – and she had no idea it was coming!

Marta's commitment to walking alongside those on their recovery journey embodies everything peer support stands for. She leads with empathy, authenticity, and an unwavering belief in the power of lived experience.

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we were honored to welcome Senator Marsha Blackburn to Alliance Healthcare Services for a tour of our Crisis Wellness Center and meeting with our leadership team.

Thank you, Senator Marsha Blackburn, for taking the time to see firsthand the critical work being done to address mental health needs in Shelby County and across Tennessee.

With more than 22,000 residents relying on our services annually, conversations like these are essential to ensuring our communities have access to the comprehensive behavioral health care they deserve.

Together, we can break down barriers and create a healthier Tennessee for all.

🤝 Building bridges in behavioral health care.

Yesterday, we welcomed internal medicine residents to our 24/7 Crisis Center.

Dr. Karen Berry, Alliance Medical Director, shared insights on crisis intervention and the vital role behavioral health plays in comprehensive patient care.

These collaborations strengthen our community’s healthcare network and prepare the next generation of physicians to recognize and address mental health needs alongside physical health.

Thank you, Dr. Lori Kessler and Dr. Robin Womeodu from Methodist, for investing in behavioral health education. Together, we’re creating a more integrated approach to care in Memphis.
