Today, Kim Dunlap and Suzanne Stovall from Alliance joined the One Memphis Second Chance Hiring Event at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, hosted by the Shelby County Office of Re-Entry during Second Chance Month.

The event brought together employers, workforce partners, and community organizations to connect people returning from incarceration with jobs and resources for a fresh start.

We were honored to be on hand to share information about Alliance services and the behavioral health supports that help our neighbors rebuild stable, healthy lives.

Stable work, stable health, stable community. That's how second chances become lasting ones.

Nearly half of teens don't know that fake pills sold online, at school, or at the mall can contain fentanyl. One pill can take a life.

April 29 is National Fentanyl Awareness Day, and we're asking every parent, grandparent, coach, and caregiver in Shelby County to have the conversation. Free family discussion guides and short videos (in English and Spanish) are available at fentanylawarenessday.org.

If your family is facing substance use, you are not alone. Alliance's Community Addictions Center offers assessment, counseling, and medication-assisted treatment. Call (901) 369-1410.

A little Louisiana in Memphis for a very good cause. ☕🥐

Members of our team had a wonderful morning at the 15th Annual Café du Memphis this weekend, and Alliance was honored to serve as a title sponsor alongside Orion Financial.

Huge thanks to the Rotary Club of Memphis for putting on such a meaningful event, with proceeds supporting Dorothy Day House (keeping families experiencing homelessness together) and the Memphis Rotary Foundation.

Today, we welcomed psychiatry residents from UT Health Science Center to our Crisis Wellness Center for Grand Rounds, including a presentation from our CEO, Laurie Powell, on how Alliance operates and why we work so hard to bring behavioral health care to the people of Memphis and Shelby County. Diana Barzizza, Director of Marketing and Development for the Alliance Foundation, then led the residents on a tour of both CWC and our new Children & Youth Crisis Wellness Center opening this June.

These are the clinicians who will shape behavioral health care in our city for years to come. Showing them what 24/7 crisis stabilization looks like in practice, no ER, no jail, just care, is how we build a stronger system together.

Grateful to UTHSC and our partners for the visit.

What a morning at the Living Well Network Mental Health Breakfast!

Alliance Healthcare Services and The Alliance Foundation were honored to sponsor and attend this year's event at the Hilton Memphis, hosted by Methodist Healthcare Foundation. Dr. Robin L. Smith delivered a keynote on resilience and healing that struck every heart in the room, and it was meaningful to see so many Memphis-area leaders, clinicians, and neighbors gather around one shared goal: better mental health for our community.

Thank you to the Dennis H. Jones Living Well Network for the work you do every day to help people navigate depression, stress, and life's hardest seasons. We're better together.

If you or someone you love needs support, Alliance is here. Call (901) 369-1410 or reach our 24/7 crisis line at (901) 577-9400. You can also call or text 988.

Happy birthday to the Crisis Wellness Center! 🎂

One year ago, Memphis got a new answer to "where do I go when someone I love is in crisis?" Since then, the CWC team has served thousands of neighbors, 24/7, with care instead of custody.

Today we celebrated the people who make it possible. Balloons, cake, and a whole lot of gratitude for a team that shows up for our community every single day.

Violence prevention is a mental health issue.

Our CEO Laurie Powell and Lisa Reed spent Friday at the 2026 Frank M. Norfleet Forum at the National Civil Rights Museum, joining researchers, clinicians, community leaders, and public safety partners for a full day focused on preventing violence in our community.

Hosted by the UTHSC Department of Psychiatry, this year's forum brought together voices like Mayor Paul Young, Dr. Adrian Raine, Commissioner Charlie Caswell, Jr., Delvin Lane of 901 BLOC Squad, and Dr. Altha Stewart.

At Alliance, we see every day how connected behavioral health care and community safety really are. Our Crisis Intervention Team partnership with local law enforcement helps thousands of Shelby County residents get care instead of getting caught in the criminal justice system. That's the kind of work that starts with conversations like these.

If you or someone you love is in crisis, call (901) 577-9400 or 988. Help is available 24/7.

A special moment this week as our Alliance Healthcare Services Board of Directors and The Alliance Foundation toured the Children & Youth Wellness Center together to see the progress firsthand.

Opening soon at 602 Malcomb Street, the CYWC will be the first facility of its kind in our region dedicated to crisis care for children and youth ages 4 to 17. Walking the space as one team, board and foundation side by side, was a reminder of what's possible when a community commits to showing up for its kids.

Thank you to every board member, foundation leader, donor, and partner helping bring this vision to life. We can't wait to open the doors. https://www.alliance-hs.org/clinics/children-youth-wellness-center

We are proud to share that Alliance Healthcare Services has partnered with MATA, the Memphis Area Transit Authority, to bring our message of hope and healing to every corner of Shelby County.

Our ads are now rolling across Memphis on MATA buses, reaching riders at bus stops, drivers on the road, AND passengers on board. The message is simple: if you need help with your mental health, just walk in. We're open 24/7. And we have locations all across Memphis and Shelby County.

For more than 50 years, Alliance has been building more when the community needs more. This partnership with MATA is another step in making sure no one in Memphis has to wonder where to turn. Whether you're on Poplar, on Elvis Presley Boulevard, or anywhere in between, help is closer than you think.

Mental health care should be as visible as the need for it. That's why we're meeting people where they are, literally, on the streets of the city we serve.

Today, we opened the doors to something special at Turning Point Peer Support Center on Summer Avenue.

Turning Point is a peer-led recovery support center staffed by Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, people with lived experience in recovery who are here because they've been there. It's one of only two peer support centers in the Shelby County region, and it's built to feel like a safe place, not a clinical one.

Today we cut the ribbon on The Oasis, a brand-new quiet room where members can rest, reflect, meditate, pray, or simply breathe when the day feels like too much. It was designed with our members in mind, because everyone deserves a moment of stillness.

We're so glad to share it with you. Come find your people at 4088 Summer Ave. https://www.alliance-hs.org/clinics/turning-point
