🚨 Building Stronger Community Partnerships for Mental Health! 🚨

Friday was a powerful day at the Crisis Wellness Center, where The Alliance Foundation - Memphis and Alliance Healthcare Services, Memphis, TN welcomed several key community partners for final tours ahead of our March 4, 2025 opening!

👮‍♂️ Shelby County Sheriff’s Office: Over 30 officers toured the facility, seeing firsthand the dedicated first responder entrance and meeting with our Crisis Wellness Center leadership team to discuss how this center will be a game-changer in handling mental health crises.

🏛️ : Team members walked through real-life crisis scenarios, ensuring seamless collaboration for individuals needing mental health and addiction care.

🏥 : Grace House Board member explored our addiction services programming, reinforcing our commitment to comprehensive recovery support.

🎨 St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital - ALSAC Patient Art Creation & Cultivation Team: As we look ahead to the early 2026 opening of the Children & Youth Crisis Wellness Center, we were thrilled to have ALSAC’s creative team visit, seeing how healing spaces will serve children ages 4-17 in Memphis and Shelby County.

These collaborations strengthen our mission to provide compassionate, accessible, and immediate mental health care to those in need. 💙

We’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of the New Alliance Healthcare Services Crisis Wellness Center alongside Shelby County Sheriff's Office Sheriff Bonner, Chief Deputy Anthony Buckner, and local leaders. This state-of-the-art facility will provide 24/7 crisis care for adults facing mental health and substance use challenges—offering crisis stabilization, detox services, and respite care to ensure immediate access to help when it’s needed most.

This is just the beginning! The next phase of this project will be the Children and Youth Crisis Center, set for completion early 2026. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier Memphis.

After the ribbon-cutting for the adult wellness crisis center, Alliance Healthcare Services broke ground on the neighboring $11 million children’s wellness center.

Today, on Valentine’s Day, we didn’t just celebrate love—we showed our love for Memphis and Shelby County by advancing mental healthcare for our community. ❤️

We officially cut the ribbon on the new Crisis Wellness Center at 3200 Broad Avenue, a state-of-the-art, 24/7 mental health facility that will provide crisis stabilization, detox, respite care, outpatient therapy, and more—all ensuring that no one is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.

And the work doesn’t stop here! We also broke ground on the Children & Youth Crisis Wellness Center, set to open in early 2026. This new facility will be dedicated to supporting children and families in crisis, ensuring that mental health care is available for every generation in our community.
