I grew frustrated with the modern medical model of physical therapy and it’s limitations in creating lasting behavior change for people with Parkinson’s in regards to keeping up with prescribed exercise programs at home. The changes that happened during the pandemic motivated me to dig deep to find an innovative way to help people with Parkinson’s make a healthy, balanced, and active lifestyle part of who they are. I began to realize that what people need to integrate movement into their own selves includes:
