“I couldn’t let this week go by without reaching out to thank each of you once again for all you did for us.

One year ago, we anxiously walked into the clinic and a new season for us. We successfully transferred one of our miracle babies after battling infertility for years. Our lives are forever changed thanks to the team at FAM. We are truly thankful for each of you.

And to our embryologist who said ‘looks just like you doesn’t it?’ to my husband while holding our embryo, yes he does look just like his dad!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us our miracle. Owen Lane King was born on July 15, 2025, at 7:57 AM, and he made all of our wishes come true the moment we met him.

We are so incredibly grateful to you and your team for giving us the chance to become parents. Owen is absolutely perfect in every way, and we feel so blessed to finally hold him in our arms.

July is Bereaved Parents Awareness Month. For many walking the path to parenthood, there are moments of heartbreaking loss that words alone can’t ease. And while friends and family often want to help, sometimes the things we say—meant to comfort—can unintentionally add to the hurt.

This month, we’re gently reminding ourselves that empathy and listening often mean more than finding the “right” words. Sitting with someone in their grief, acknowledging their loss, and simply saying, “I’m so sorry. I’m here,” can be the greatest gift you can give. ❤
