Team GNG recently participated in a cadaveric lab at our office with Dr. Colton Norton, exploring TTO and MPFL onlay techniques using Arthrex's Hybrid Knee Fibertaks. It's an honor to offer this service to our surgeons locally, and we thank Dr. Norton for dedicating his time to improving patient outcomes.

Dr. Colton Norton, a new physician at OrthoSouth, joined Team GNG at our Memphis office this week for a Quad ACL Reconstruction with Graft Prep cadaveric lab. Thank you for coming to our lab!

Dr. Joel Cardona was able to join Team GNG at our Memphis location for a podiatry lab yesterday. The cadaveric lab focused on a variety of forefoot procedures and product offerings, including: MIS Bunion, MaxForce MTP Plating system, Plantar Plate Repair, and Hammer Toe PIP Fusion.

Technology Specialists, Ben Swolsky, attended Top Gun for Advanced Foot and Ankle training for Arthrex Representatives. In order to attend this medical education event, the rep must be nominated and complete the prerequisite work. Ben finished 5th of 32! We are extremely proud of his accomplishments. Way to go Ben, congratulations on a job well done. 👏

While lateral extra-articular procedures (LEAPs) have long been the topic of discussion in the surgery world, two new international consensus statements provide clarity. Developed during a daylong meeting in November 2024, these publications outline agreed-upon best practices for how, when, and why to incorporate LEAPs into ACL procedures, allowing surgeons to make informed decisions and prioritize patient outcomes in treating these injuries.

Dr. Neil Schwimley from the Memphis VA, joined Technology Specialist Zach Perrin at our Memphis Lab this week. They were able to focus on Lateral Extra-articular Tendonisis (LET) with our Double Loaded Knotless Knee Fibertaks, Quad Harvest for ACL reconstruction with our QuadPro Harvester, and MCL reconstruction using our SwiveLocks.
