Our ❤️’s are FULL!!!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to celebrate Trenton yesterday. We are beyond grateful for every single person in his life and for all the love and support you continue to pour into him. Whether you stopped by, sent a card, shared a kind word, or simply congratulated him on his accomplishments — thank you. Trenton felt so loved yesterday, and honestly, you could feel that love in every corner of the room. 🥹
A huge thank you to Evelyn for allowing us to use her beautiful space to host Trent’s grad party. Your kindness, help, and dedication to both your business and our family never go unnoticed, and we are so thankful for you!
To Trenton’s teachers, friends, and past and present staff members who came to spend time with him yesterday — thank you. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and joy on Trent’s face meant the world to us.
And lastly… before the night ended, we were blessed with something incredibly special.
We were joined by the wonderful Gina Tomes, someone who has been part of our lives for a long time and one of the founders of Guiding Grace. If you haven’t heard of Guiding Grace before, they are an amazing nonprofit organization that supports men and women through their parenthood journeys by providing resources, support, and community so families can truly thrive.
Before the evening came to an end, Trenton was offered a summer internship with Guiding Grace. To say we are grateful would be an understatement.
After moving back home following treatment, our family was left with so many unknowns. What would our new normal look like? What progress would Trenton make? How would we navigate life while making sure he had the care, time, and support he needed every single day?
So we prayed. Every single day.
And God answered those prayers when Guiding Grace came into our lives.
This opportunity means more than words can explain. Trenton has always talked about wanting to make a difference in kids’ lives the same way his teachers, mentors, and leaders have impacted his. Watching him now step into an opportunity where he can do exactly that is such a full-circle moment for all of us.
Thank you, Guiding Grace, for believing in Trent and for all the kindness, love, and support you give to families in this community every day. Your work is truly changing lives.
And thank you again to everyone who has stood beside us from day one. We would not be here without you.
