This page was created to be able to educate others on childhood cancer and the effects it has not only on the child but also on their loved ones. Trenton has said from the beginning that he has a story and he wants it to be heard.

What an awe-inspiring moment. Trent has had a sub in weights all week; the gentleman on the far right has been talking to him. Come to find out, he was the sub with Ms. Ward the day Trent had his stroke at school - the same day our world transformed forever. We are eternally grateful to finally have Trent meet him; all we heard was that a sub and Ms. Ward helped him. Now they have formed an unbreakable bond for life. These teachers make a profound impact on my son every day; coming back home and going to school with this unwavering support every day is what propels him to rise above each day.

This is another one of our courageous little heroes we connected with in Memphis—his name is Ayden. He’s a huge Spider-Man fan and one of the brightest kids you’ll ever meet. His mom gave the most comforting hugs right when you needed them.

Anyway, Ayden is here at St. Jude for scans as well, and his family is facing a challenging road ahead. Please keep Aden and his family in your prayers. These are the moments when we rally around our brave babies—cancer truly sucks.

Today was a motivating session with Coach Coil. Trent's sophomore year was a turning point - after taking a year off to overcome cancer, he's now working with his former track coach to tackle his final year of school with renewed strength and determination.

Training with Coach Coil, no days off. He said it felt good to have shorts on.

On April 3rd, 2024, something was off, but it was brushed off as dehydration. May 3rd, 2024, was the last meet, 608 days ago, and today he is 9 weeks away from track season. Coach Coil has always believed in him and sees what he’s capable of doing. I can’t wait for the final season.

This year we are truly blessed to be part of the holiday celebrations; this is by far the most incredible gift ever, Trent being with us and family.

Another uplifting experience with AAU at Fusion for the annual Christmas party; it was the perfect theme, incredible food all the way to the treats. Even if it's for a short outing, it's worth it just to spend time with him.
