Hello All! The main reason why nail fungus is soooo hard to treat is likely due to the fact that most, if not all, OTC treatments (and even some prescriptions) may only treat one or a few types of fungi. Often times, multiple fungi types may be present. Also, most treatments don't account for the fact that there may be other organisms (yeast, mold, and/or bacteria) involved that are preventing resolution of the infection. If you have a chronic nail fungus or really thick fungal nails, please come to see Dr. Griffin at Artineli Foot Care for a more effective resolution method!
