Love this!! Walk on Lacey lay walk on!!!
Okay so I gotta give some credit where credit is due....
I've been dealing with shoulder/neck issues for years now. Because my face went through a windshield when I was a kid, I've got a crushed vertebrae in my neck. It gets complicated. The crushed vertebrae was not found til years after the accident, when I went to a heavy metal concert in my 30s and banged my head a little too hard, and spent a year after that, going to the chiropractor. I finally got relief and have had relief up until a few months ago when I was a little too forth coming in some shenanigans.๐
Anyways, it's definitely hindered my adventure lifestyle. I wasn't able to go on a river float, or carry a heavy pack, or sleep comfortably on an air mattress... or sleep comfortably at all. I bi***ed 63% of the day because it hurt SO. BAD.
Anywho, after countless visits to Lance Richardson at Rich Mountain Chiropractic, 3 acupuncture treatments and several massages from my friend Jodi, a licensed masseuse at Transcendence Energy and Bodywork.. I have found relief!!! My neck popped so loud and proud the other day, I almost passed out. I felt instant relief. My fingers stopped tingling. I really dont know if the pain had anything to do with the crushed vertebrae but im sure it plays a part. But! I can wear a back pack! I can hold my own big ass head up for hours now. I can even... turn my head. I know, crazy right? I assume with all the treatments, the innards finally relaxed enough to put my spine back in alignment.
So. Needless to say, I'll be backpackcampinghikingfloatingsquealing for the next few weeks and I AM FRIGGIN THRILLEDDDDD!!! If you're looking for a chiropractor or masseuse in the Mena area, I highly recommend those folks listed above. They really put the work in.
Photo for attention. That's my adventure hat I left sitting outside. I counted 22 granddaddy long legs and that was just the top of the hat. The underside was worse. ๐ค
