‼City of Appleton Offers Sand and Bags for Residents to Create Sandbags Ahead of Potential Flooding‼

The City of Appleton is offering sand and bags to residents in preparation for potential future flooding. Sand and empty bags will be available at Memorial Park starting TOMORROW.

✅Collection Details
📍 Location: Appleton Memorial Park (1620 E Witzke Blvd, Appleton, WI 54911)
📅 Dates: Tuesday, July 16th through Friday, July 19th
🕖 Time: 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM

✅Important Information:
- Residents are required to fill the provided bags and load them into their own vehicle.
- Filling sandbags can be physically demanding. It is recommended to have two individuals to fill the bags. The city will NOT be able to offer assistance with this process.
- Shovels and pick-up trucks are recommended for self-filling, as sandbags can be bulky.
- Reliable transportation is essential as sandbags can be heavy.
- Filled sandbags will need to be transported to your home in your own vehicle.
- Residents are welcome to keep the sandbags they collect.

Tomas’s grandmother was the Medicine Woman the village in Zacatecas, Mexico where she lived. At the age of five he was assisting and Healing the indigenous people of Honorable Huajuapan De Leon, Mexico by offering Readings and Healing in exchange of learning their dialect.

Leigh is a Medical Medium and Healer. Her paternal great-grandmother was a well known Psychic in the State of Illinois and her maternal grandmother was also gifted.
