DETOURS/CLOSURES - ROUTE 24/ROXITICUS RD: Starting on Monday, 9/22 thru Tuesday, 9/23, there will be closures/detours in place for the work being down at the Route 24 and Roxiticus Rd intersection.
On Monday, Route 24 will be closed between Ironia Rd and Roxiticus Rd with detours in place (east bound traffic down Roxiticus Rd o Ext and west bound down Ironia Rd)
On Tuesday, Route 24 will be closed between Old Mill Rd and Roxiticus Rd (west bound traffic will be detoured down Roxticus Rd/Ext and East bound traffic will be detoured up Old Mill Rd.)

There will be ditches across the roadway on both days, so there will be no access to ANY vehicles on either day when the work is being done. Please follow the detours that are in place, they will get you to where you want to get! Plan accordingly and try to avoid the area if possible!

New York State is taking proactive steps to combat lithium battery fires.

You too can prevent lithium battery fires by unplugging the batteries once fully charged, not leaving them charging unattended and certainly not leaving them charging in your home while you sleep. E-bike fires have become a major cause of fatal fires in the metropolitan areas such as New York City. When buying replacement lithium batteries always do your research first and should always consider getting the battery from the manufacturer.
