I too forget to switch directions with my pelvic floor habits — and every time I finally do, it feels so awkward! 😅
But that awkwardness? That’s your body waking up and balancing out.
Here’s a simple and super effective way to re-engage your pelvic floor:
👉 Change directions.
It helps open the side that’s usually stiff and strengthen the one that’s over-lengthened.
Small, mindful changes = long-term pelvic floor health 🌿

Yeah… your hips notice.

That tight, wide-hip feeling?
Half posture, half anxiety, half “haven’t exhaled since 2020.” 😅

Try this instead:
Short inhale. Long exhale.
Let your ribs move, your hips melt, and your nervous system chill out for a sec.

Your pelvic floor will thank you. 💛

I’m having too much with class this season and I keep forgetting to post the fun we have ….Today’s Pelvic floor tip: don’t forget the backside! 😉 Hamstrings, glutes, and triceps balance your quads + biceps and give your pelvis the support it deserves.

⚡️ Did you know ovulation is one of the riskiest times for sports injuries?

Here’s why ⬇️
✔️ You’re at peak strength 💪
✔️ But your joints are extra lax 🤸‍♀️
✔️ You fatigue faster 🥵
✔️ And you lose some control over movement ⚡️

To top it off, coaches often praise athletes at this stage for looking their strongest… but physiologically + mentally, it’s a perfect storm for injury.

October heat + Mendham hills = perimenopause training camp. 😅

For the past two months I’ve been canvassing for a Board of Ed seat, staying hydrated, breathing through the cardio, and having honest conversations with neighbors.

How does this tie back to the pelvic floor? No clue yet. Right now, I’m just suffering in the heat. 🥵 Stay tuned. 😉
