Humbling. 2024 was an enormous learning year for me. And a time of great change and new visions.
Among them…
* pushing for an outcome is never the way (duh but I had to relearn this one apparently). Rather surrendering to habits, actions, people, situations, places that are in line with vision and authentic self will bring about what is meant to be
* boundaries are essential. Repeat.
* remember you are part of something so much greater. You are never alone and you are so much stronger when you trust in your inner connectedness
* now is better than never
looking forward to all the new lessons and visions 2025 will bring!
Happiest of new years to all of you. ❤️

Summer can turn your urinary health upside down and if you are menopausal or a woman who gets more than three UTIs a year, you need to take extra care. UTIs can be more prevalent in women with less healthy microbiomes or thinner skin like in menopause.
Make sure to stay hydrated. Add an extra glass or two on hot days and no… rose doesn’t count 😜
You can also add probiotic-rich foods like kefir to your day or consider a probiotic with l. Rhamnosus and L. Reuteri strains.
Cranberry extracts may help along with D-Mannose.
Change out of wet bathing suits or damp exercise gear promptly.
Take the summer ON with your natural care to feel more free and empowered!

Feeling off or low is normal during seasonal changes, hormone shifts and even travel and time shifts. Periods of sadness can also follow phases of great effort or stress.
One way to support yourself during these times is to recognize the role gut healing foods can play in your emotional health. Add in foods like bone broth, fermented vegetables and cut back on sugar and takeout. Foods that inflame your body like gluten and unprocessed foods can also impact your mental health.

Menopausal women actually need MORE of many nutrients… these are just a few… and unfortunately many of us are getting less especially if we are trying to eat less food or skipping meals.
That’s exactly what we focus on in the 6-week Time to Thrive program starting 1/29. And… we make it easy and delicious… and even fun. :)

I know what it feels like to not feel like yourself. And it’s so frustrating.
And… these actions can provide a foundation for getting your “ypufulness” back. Start with one. Dial in to the one you really don’t want to do (hint: it’s usually the one you need the most). Set yourself up the night before.
You’ve got so much you want to do. And if you need more support or just a fresh outlook, consider joining the 6-week Time-to-Thrive program for nutrition and self care in midlife. One of our main goals is eating for better energy and vitality. What if this was your best year ever?
starts 1/29. Spaces limited. Link in bio.

If you are dealing with IBS or IBS-related symptoms, you are hopefully aware of the significant relationship between your symptoms and what you put on your fork.
I struggled for years with digestive issues and it was only after I landed in the ER several years ago that I was motivated to make dietary shifts that were the foundation for my healing. I was so tired of not getting any answers from the doctors I visited nor the medications they were prescribing. The power of shifts to my diet along with dialing in to better stress management helped me not just eliminate symptoms but totally reclaim my energy, hormone balance and freedom from crippling anxiety. And its why I left my marketing career and became a holistic nutrition counselor.
I continue to learn about new developments in gastrointestinal health and nutrition, earn new certifications, read new studies as part of my desire to empower other women because knowledge is power. And you deserve to know what is going on in your body and how you can be instrumental in allowing it to heal. xo
This online course explored IBS and the low FODMAP diet at an advanced level. Topics covered in this course include the pathophysiology and diagnosis of IBS, sources of FODMAPs, indications and contraindications for the low FODMAP diet, implementation of the 3 phases of the diet, at-risk nutrients o...

Tea may be one of the most underrated but easiest and least intrusive sleep aids for women. Any non-caffeinated tea can help us feel relaxed and therefore more in tune with falling asleep yet there are a number of herbal teas, or infusions, that can make a big difference in not only falling but staying asleep and in helping reduce other symptoms that can make good sleep elusive.
🫖passionflower helps reduce anxiety and those whirling thoughts that keep you up at night
🫖 tulsi is very calming and can help reduce pain which may disturb sleep
🫖 lemon balm can help reduce anxiety and sadness and improve quality of sleep
🫖 hops (like in beer) can reduce hot flashes and night sweats along with promoting sleep
🫖 chamomile is comforting and supports better digestion
there are some beautiful blends on the market such as Mountain Rose fidnemed nighttime tea (which means sacred forest) and Buddha Tea’s Sleepy Temple. Or choose just one single herb to try until you find just the right one for you.
I adore Tulsi Sleep tea and a mix I make from my garden with lavender, lemon balm and lemon verbena.

Like so many women, I was living the “new normal” as a full-time, commuting marketing executive with two small children – frenzied, stressed out and exhausted. I often gobbled down whatever I could find at work, ate from the kids’ plates, called walking 3 blocks from the train “exercise” and rarely got more than 6 hours of sleep. Then I began experiencing major panic attacks so frequent and intense that I found myself avoiding work and social activities and started having serious digestive issues - both of which forced me practically housebound. After an episode that left me in the ER severely dehydrated and exhausted and multiple visits to physicians with no discernible diagnosis, I vowed that I would prioritize my health. I just had to get my life back and I just knew there had to be a better way!
My first major “ah-ha” moment came from learning how my gut dysfunction and my stress and anxiety were completely connected.. really one system behaving badly! When the brain isn't functioning well, the digestive system begins to falter and in order to heal myself I would have to heal both! Another O-M-G moment came when I discovered how multiple food sensitivities and a leaky gut were ruining my ability to absorb nutrients. It wasn’t just about eating better and getting more sleep, I had to really rebuild my health from the ground up. And on this journey, a new world of health and conscious living opened up for me…and for my family.
My goal today is to help other women face their own health demons that are a result of living in a fast-paced world while not making self-care a priority. With small, achievable changes made over time, you can experience more gratitude and self-love that let you support those you love and strive for your own dreams. It’s a darn tall order – and sometimes there will be bumps in the road - but it's also delicious and incredibly rewarding. And I’m on the journey with you.
I'm here to guide you on your journey to truly nourish your body, mind and soul and reclaim the life you deserve.
