Recently, you may have seen lots of #2016 posts... people sharing what they were up to 10 years ago.

At Dungarvin in 2016, we acquired North Carolina services plus additional services in Indiana, adding around 1,000 employees to our total workforce!
At the same time, our mission statement evolved to what it is today: “To Respect and Respond to the Choices of People in Need of Supports.”

We’re thankful to be able to provide supports 10 years later, and we hope to be doing the same in 2036!

❄ This year's Saint Paul Winter Carnival in Minnesota is off to an incredible start... even with temperatures as low as -19 F!

This weekend featured the knighting of some of the individuals we serve, their chance at being featured in a Minnesota Wild game, and the opportunity to see Rice Park decorated.

It's extra special to share this experience with our founders, Diane and Tim Madden, and all the staff and individuals we support who braved the extreme weather to come together to celebrate.

Who do you recognize in these photos? Give them a shout-out in the comments!

👉 A large group from the Dungarvin Oregon team headed to the Oregon State Capitol alongside providers from across the state and our partners at Oregon Resource Association.

The team showed up to advocate against LC 38, SEIU's Workforce Standards Board, raising concerns about adding new layers of bureaucracy and regulatory uncertainty to a system that’s already stretched thin. Their message was simple: Oregon’s disability services system needs sustainable funding, workforce stability, and flexibility so providers can keep delivering individualized, community-based supports.

We are grateful for a passionate team willing to use their voices and their lived experience to stand up for the people we support and the workforce that makes this work possible.

⭐ Today, we focus on our latest inductees, Mary and Joe Regenscheid, for the month of December.

Known as Dungarvin’s “Dynamic Duo,” Joe and Mary both joined Dungarvin in 1994, during a time of rapid growth. Earlier that year the organization had grown from five to eight states, and the national office team was struggling to support the expanded operations. Joe was hired as Controller and Mary as a temporary accounting staff.

As the first professional accountant on the Dungarvin Team, Joe built the accounting and finance department. He was promoted to serve as the Chief Financial Officer in 2006.

Not long after joining the company, Mary demonstrated her versatility of talent by accepting a newly formed position as an Executive Assistant to the founders.

Thank you, Joe and Mary, for your contributions that have significantly impacted the growth and success of Dungarvin.

Adelani (Tim), Arnaldo, and Tammy are the first of 2026! 👑

Tim is known for his strong, genuine relationships with the people for whom he cares. It’s clear that he has an incredible ability to connect and demonstrate authentic care, which has made a visible difference in the lives of those he serves.

Arnaldo, a recent addition to Dungarvin, has been exemplary at caring for individuals and doing anything for them that they need to succeed, whether that be cooking, cleaning, helping with medications or just being a shoulder to lean on.

Tammy’s coworkers are quick to recognize and applaud her for the way she prioritizes the health and well-being of persons served. She is patient and detail-oriented in all of the positions she’s had at Dungarvin.

We’re so thankful for ALL our Dungarvin staff, and we’re grateful for the example that these three bring to our Operations. Thank you Tim, Arnaldo, and Tammy!
