Our summer intern finished up yesterday! She came in here timid, nervous and shy! She left confident, relaxed and so outgoing! The patients loved her! Ella, I’m so proud of you! You worked more than I asked! You stepped out of your comfort zone and you excelled! I loved watching you grow this summer and taking on your first job! Keep working hard and dreaming BIG! We’re all here supporting you! ❤️

Our office is still open, but we are getting our driveway refinished! You may have to enter through the back door of the office. There is a parking lot next door. I apologize for any inconvenience! It will be fresh, new and smooth soon!

It’s a New Year and with that comes more change! We have a position open for a full time employee!

Job Description: Optometric Assistant
•Answering phones, scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar effectively.

•There will be an emphasis on helping patients choose their frame and lenses.

•Assist in adjusting glasses, fixing glasses and educating patients on proper eyewear care.

•Perform medical billing and eyecare insurance processing.
•Provide friendly and efficient assistance to patients and vendors.

An outgoing personality with a willingness to learn is very important. A highly organized and efficient individual is a must. We do require exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction!

Please help me in congratulating Peggy on her retirement after 23+ years! Peggy is the doer of ALL things! She will figure it, she will get it done and she will do it while smiling! I’m convinced, everyone needs a “Peggy”! Grateful does not even begin to describe it! She’s been my right hand for 17+ years. She will shovel snow in heels, climb in and out of the attic and stand on chairs to help me change light bulbs! She is also the first to remind us to have grace. When a patient walks through our door, we never know what they might be going through that day! She’s a smile in the morning and cheerful “drive safe” at the end of the day! Peggy, thank you for EVERYTHING!!! We will all miss you! ❤️ Congratulations to you! Enjoy your beautiful family!
