We made loaded potato bites at cooking club! Then passed them out as appetizers to other residents. It was alot of fun! What should we make next?

We had a fantastic time at the Mendota Sweet Corn Festival Parade this weekend !!
I think a record number of our residents rode the bus.
A big shout out to Justin for driving!! They love you!!
Thanks to our wonderful kids and friends for dressing up as seniors and rocking it!! So fun!!
It was a bit rainy at first but we all managed to have fun and pass out lots of candy!!!

Entertainment was provided by Jim Henkel, who got residents dancing, and we enjoyed taco bowls with our garden-fresh vegetables.

Today, we went to the igloo in Peru. The lady’s shared many stories about her childhood experiences visiting here, having dinner dates, and enjoying time here in the 50's. They were grateful, and it brought back memories.
