Kale is a powerhouse for cleansing πŸ’•

Group 1 in the Living Mindfully Healthy 28 day jumpstart just completed their 28 days and here are some of the takeaways:

- over 20 pounds lost collectively
- One client stated it was a great reset

10 WAYS TO BOOST OXYTOCIN...The Happy Hormone during Quarantine.

1. Experience activities you Love!

- Most of us have lots of extra time on our hands now. Some of my favorites are:
- Playing cards
- rollerblading
- riding bikes
- cooking/baking
- reading
- going in the spa

2. Laughing - Laughter is truly the best medicine

- Funny movies
- Posting funny meme's
- Start a Laugh out Loud Challenge with friends
- Do something silly

3. Be Playful - let your inner child come out and play. Think about an child on the playground who is acting silly without self-critism or self-consciusness. Really engage fully, fearlessly enjoying those fun activities.

- start a pillow fight
- fill up some water balloons or water guns and start a war
- throw a dance party
- sing a song or come up with a new one.

4. Be Generous with hearts - I call them heart hugs, and allow yourself to connect with those individuals and let them know you care about them.

5. Get or give a massage - touch is a beautiful way to increase oxytocin especially during this time. So as long as you aren't going out spreading the love outside of your home. Go ahead and do it inside with those close to you.

6. Enjoy a pet - Being able to connect with an animal on a non-verbal level is a beautiful experience. Pets give so much love :)

7. GIVE - give to charity, give to a friend. The bible says "God loves a cheerful giver" Use the gift of giving to spread good in the world.

8. Engage in your community - Give as much aid to others as you can. Even though we are in quarantine there are still many ways in which you can engage in community
- making masks for nurses
- creating hand sanitizer for those who need it
- helping the elderly with meals/TP
- posts creating laughter on social media
- helping to guide others who are stressed or in anxiety during this trying time.

9. Intimacy - oxytocin is often associated with Or**sm or climax. Take the time for intimacy with your loved one.

10. Gratitude - what we appreciate, appreciates. It's important to remember to appreciate the things we do have in life. Appreciate the things you have and also appreciate the things others do for you and acknowledge it openly, not just in silence.

Thank you Jesus for the gift of Life! We know you will pull us through this trying time and we know that there is so much work to be done while we are on quarantine.

Start the work now, don't wait. There is so much to do. Evaluate the circumstances and take action and Grow.
