The holiday season is a time for family get-togethers, vacations, and special holiday dinners.That is why this time of year can be especially difficult after the loss of a loved one.

Evans Brown Mortuaries cordially invites you to attend our Hope for the Holidays Open House and Candle Lighting event where we give you the opportunity to come by and light a candle in memory of your loved one.

This special event will take place on Wednesday, December 10th, 9am to 7pm at our Lake Elsinore, Menifee and Perris locations. Light refreshments & pastries will be served. Please feel free to visit any of our locations

A complimentary Christmas ornament will be available for you to take home to decorate and fill it with the memories of your loved one and to display on your tree for years to come.

Here at Evans Brown Mortuary we feel truly blessed and honored to have been able to host another Hope for the Holidays Memorial Service for our families.

At the rising sun and at its going down; We remember them.

As a former Firefighter and a current Managing Partner at Evans Brown Mortuaries, Fridays procession to our funeral home was emotional. Myself and the entire staff at Evans Brown continue to send prayers to both families and these gentleman’s CalFire family as well.

Martin Luther King Day for the year 2023 is celebrated/observed today, Monday, January 16th. Martin Luther King Jr Day is now a federal holiday held on the third Monday of January every year.

Dr. King was a Baptist minister and social activist who hugely impacted the civil rights movement of the 1950s in the United States. Today we celebrate his memory and his contribution to society!

We can never fully comprehend the pain, loss, and grief of others, even if we've gone through something similar ourselves.

But what we can offer is understanding that they ARE in pain. That they ARE deep in grief. That their loss MATTERS.

Comparing our losses, who's grief is "worse," is a losing game. Every person's loss is the worst-because it's THEIRS.

Offer a hug, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, to just be there with them, acknowledging their pain.

That is how we can create space for support and understanding for one another.

Has anyone every extended the gift of compassionate understanding to you?
