Our Sweet Memory Care residents had a wonderful time on Friday creating a beautiful tree made entirely of colorful buttons! This meaningful and engaging craft wasn’t just fun, it also supported fine motor skills, encouraged self-expression, and provided a calming, sensory-rich activity that’s especially beneficial for seniors living with dementia. It’s a beautiful morning here at Sunny Rose Senior Living! There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing our residents enjoying a sunny day in our community. As you can see, one of our lovely couples spent the morning in our lovely courtyard, reading a good book and having an enjoyable conversation.

We’re always exploring meaningful and engaging activities that support the well-being of our residents, and today was a perfect example.

💙Residents had the opportunity to try aqua painting for the first time, and it was a hit! 🎨 The room was filled with creativity, laughter, and moments of calm focus — a wonderful way to support self-expression and cognitive wellness.

A BIG thank you to our new Memory Care Director, Melissa, for bringing fresh ideas and helping create such a positive, enriching experience. It’s inspiring to see our team working together with one goal in mind: to uplift and care for our incredible community.

Our residents in Memory Care had a wonderful time during our “Folding Memories” activity. It was truly heartwarming to see the smiles on their faces as they returned to their homes, filled with a sense of satisfaction and joy.
