Today, we celebrated the completion of our NEWstARTs painting project with a wonderful gathering! 🎨
The beautiful canvases we created over these 12 weeks are truly incredible. Each class was unique and filled with creativity, laughter, and joy. We loved watching our residents believe in themselves, express their emotions through every paint stroke, and fully engage in the program. Sometimes the classes became a little “out of control” with all the fun everyone was having — and that made it even more special!
Seeing the smiles, happiness, and confidence grow each week was such a rewarding experience. Our residents poured their hearts and moods into every masterpiece they created.
A very special thank you to Linda, our amazing painting artist, for all of her support, patience, encouragement, and guidance throughout this spectacular project. She reminded us every week that:
“If you can scribble, you can paint,” and “Nobody makes mistakes.”
These words will stay with us forever. ❤️🖌️
