Proof that a little pop can transform the whole room! 💙🤍 Everyone loves a white kitchen… but let’s be honest, sometimes it needs a little something. These bold blue barstools bring the perfect pop of color—just enough to break up the sea of white while still keeping things fresh and timeless. Proof that a little contrast goes a long way!

You know what look I’m loving right now? A contrasting diamond-pattern tile floor. It’s classic, timeless, and just by laying tile in a diamond pattern elevates any space (plus—it can be surprisingly cost-effective!). I love marble for this look, but you can also use a porcelain tile that mimics marble for a more budget-friendly alternative without sacrificing style. There’s something about that subtle shift in orientation that instantly makes a room feel more intentional and refined. Whether you’re pairing it with crisp cabinetry or soft, natural tones, it adds an understated elegance that never goes out of style.
✨ Would you try this look in your home?

I’m all for layering texture, but in this entryway, it’s feeling just a bit too crowded. My instinct? Edit.
I’d pare back a few of the tabletop accessories and let that stunning wainscoting take the spotlight, it’s too beautiful not to. The palette also leans a little too monochrome for my taste. I’d introduce some color through artwork, a bold lamp, or even a rich paint tone, something to bring the space to life and invite people in.
And the stools? I’d swap them for pieces that echo the architecture instead of fighting with it. Sometimes, simplicity is the most powerful design move you can make.

Living rooms naturally lean into softness, think plush sofas, cozy chairs, and layered textiles. But to keep things feeling balanced and visually dynamic, I love bringing in an occasional chair with a bit more texture.
Whether it’s cane, leather, or a sculptural wood frame, these pieces add just the right amount of contrast and structure to elevate the whole room.
Here are a few of my go-to textural chairs, they work beautifully in almost any space and instantly up the style factor.

Cream and white create a serene and timeless foundation soft, airy, and effortlessly elegant.

Pink and grey add a layer of romantic sophistication, where the warmth of blush tones meets the cool of the grey for a look that’s both cozy and refined. Blue and brown, inspired by nature’s balance of earth and sky, bring a grounded, calming energy to any space. Together, these palettes reflect a thoughtful blend of softness, structure, and organic warmth perfect for interiors that feel both elevated and inviting

There’s a special kind of magic that happens when texture, pattern, and material come together just right.

Balance of color is in my opinion the most important design principle to incorporate in your space, otherwise your eye is always thrown off and the room just doesn’t “look right”. Utilizing the 60 - 30 - 10 color principle can help with this.

There’s a special kind of magic that happens when texture, pattern, and material come together just right.

I love blending tactile textures with unexpected patterns and layered materials to create spaces that feel both curated and deeply personal.

Think: linen next to lacquer, soft wools paired with warm woods, and bold prints softened by natural stone.

The result? A space that tells your story, beautifully balanced, welcoming, and designed to stand the test of time.
Your home should never feel like a showroom. It should feel like you elevated, relaxed, and ready to be lived in.

I believe your home should reflect you—your story, your memories, your favorite pieces. Whether it’s your grandma’s vintage armchair or that funky art piece you picked up while traveling—if it matters to you, it matters to me.
For this particular living room refresh, we started with two key pieces the clients already owned—the wood coffee table and sideboard—and thoughtfully designed the rest of the space around them. We layered in complementary furniture to highlight the beauty of the wood while maintaining a cohesive, inviting feel. My clients also have an incredible art collection gathered from their travels, so we reimagined its placement—relocating a few pieces and giving others a new home within the house. Because great design isn’t about starting from scratch. It’s about honoring what you love and creating a space that feels unmistakably yours.

A successful material mix is about more than just color it’s about texture, tone, and contrast. The interplay between the buttery leather, tailored upholstery, and organic finishes like the cement table and woven wallpaper gives this space a grounded yet elevated feel. Throw in a few black accents like the metal on the leather chair and the curated ceiling light fixture and the space is immediately elevated.
