Today, on National Purple Heart Day, we honor those who have been wounded or killed in service to our nation. The Purple Heart is a symbol of courage, resilience, and dedication, and we are deeply grateful to all who have received this esteemed decoration.

We are committed to providing compassionate care and support to our veterans and their families. Our team understands the unique needs of those who have served, and we strive to deliver the highest quality of hospice care that respects their sacrifice and honors their legacy.

MYTH: Choosing hospice means giving up all medical treatment.

FACT: Hospice places the patient and family at the center of the care-planning process and provides high-quality pain management and symptom control. The focus of hospice care is to enable patients to live the remainder of their lives as fully and painlessly as possible.

MYTH: Hospice is for people who have no hope.

FACT: Facing a serious illness is never easy. However, even when life is measured in months instead of years, there is still a lot of living to do. Hospice can help individuals spend their final months doing the things that are most important to them. Hospice can provide the physical, emotional, and spiritual support patients and families need to welcome each new day.

Hospice volunteers are exceptionable people. They donate their time and efforts to provide care and comfort for someone with a life-limiting illness – a labor of love that requires a special person with just the right touch.
