Well, folks, it’s Tuesday, January 14th at 4:15,
And City Hall’s the place to be seen.
The Planning Commission’s holding the floor,
Talking dispensaries and signs—need I say more?

Now, some of y’all are waiting for a “sign,”
Well, here it is, plain as a highway line.
If you’re sitting there thinking, “Should I intervene?”
Buddy, that’s your sign—it’s on the big screen!

Do we need more dispensaries? That’s the debate,
But if you don’t show up, don’t complain it’s too late.
And those signs? Oh, the drama’s so thick,
You’d think it’s a plot twist in a cheap Netflix flick.

Politicians aren’t magicians, let’s make that clear,
It’s your city, your voice, and your time to steer.
If you leave it to them, don’t act surprised,
When Menominee’s future’s a big compromise.

So here’s your sign, it’s neon bright,
It’s flashing, it’s glowing, it’s saying, “Do right!”
Get to the meeting, take a stand,
The city’s future is in your hands.
