This week was the start of our Spirit Month for International Alzheimer's Month and the month of the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Waukesha.

Today is Crazy Day, so we put on some hats while remembering a friend, and some of us came all crazy looking. Next week we have Pajama Day on Wednesday and Auberge Day on Friday! And on Mondays, we all wear purple.

Hello friends and family! We had a wonderful weekend here at The Auberge at Oak Village. Thanks to your wonderful support we had a very successful Brat Fry and Bake Sale on Saturday!

We sold clean out of brats, and almost all of the baked goods were sold as well!! All and all, we raised nearly $500 for the Alzheimer's Association!

Thank you to all of you who donated baked goods or just came to eat. That was so wonderful to have! Keep watch for our upcoming events. September is going to have several including the return of Oakfest, the Walk to end Alzheimer's in Waukesha, and an evening family support group. See you all there!

Hello family and friends!
We were so happy today to have our friend "Elvis" back in the building! Many many of our residents came out for the show and enjoyed every second of it. Elvis is an The Auberge at Oak Village favorite and he did not disappoint today!

Hi Friends and Family.

Today at happy hour we celebrated National Root Beer Float Day which was the 6th of August. Everyone who wanted one had a float, with a little root beer. What goes best with beer? Pizza! So we also made up some pizzas and passed out snack slices. Everyone was happy. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos, but there were smiles all around!

Hi family and friends. Yesterday we had an amazing day. Six of our residents and some staff were set loose at the Wisconsin State Fair!

We got there early, walked through a little bit of the exposition hall where we got to see all the cool things that were being sold. All our ladies that went got giant lemonades. Then we went to the Wisconsin Products building where we watched a little bit of a gentleman teaching people how to taste cheese. After we went across the way to Saz's for burgers and fries, which everyone enjoyed. Before we left, we had to go and see the cows and goats. Then we headed home, but not empty handed.
We brought back cream puffs for everyone's dessert at dinner.

Hello family and friends! On Thursday, July 3rd we celebrated the 4th of July! Chef Richard and co barbecued out back and got us some great looking burgers and brats! We listened to the "4th of July BBQ" playlist and then we played backyard bingo with some great July 4th prizes.

A lot of fun was had by all, and everyone left full!
