A favorite around here! They stick to any flat surface and take some “oomf” to pull, which turns on deep tummy muscles. Here, Lily is playing with squigz while working on standing balance, leg strength, and core activation in physical therapy!

Meet our summer interns, Ella and Nick!

We welcome interns to our team every semester to be an extra set of hands in sessions, help out with daily tasks, and give us the opportunity to spread our love and knowledge of the pediatric therapy world to students! We are kicking off our annual summer theme weeks! ☀️

🌼🌸The next two weeks is a blend of gardening and farm activities. 🚜🐮🌽

Please send your child in clothes that can get a little dirty, as we explore sensory, movement, fine motor and language experiences inside and outside (weather permitting of course)! 🌧☂️🌤

We like to keep therapy novel and exciting, which is where the best learning happens. It challenges routine and keeps kids excited to come back. 😁

In celebration of Administrative Professionals Day yesterday, we can't miss out on the opportunity to share with you two of the people that keep this clinic running day to day.

Katie Govin is our Director of Community Outreach and Programs, wearing many hats from scheduling to marketing. She is the first point of contact for interested clients and people exploring our services. She never fails to meet our families with a smile or engage with the kids who are excited to visit with her at the reception desk. Since our Menomonie location closed, Katie works mostly from home, but comes on different days to New Richmond to be on site. We are so appreciative of her hard work and the many ways she supports the Foundations therapists!

Meghan Levine is our Director of Billing and Client Accounts. She has been with Foundations Therapy for 8 years! Meghan has always worked remotely from California, but her connections to the Midwest and Foundations Therapy are tightly woven into the survival and success of this clinic. Meghan connects with insurance companies to make sure services are covered or advocates for more visits for kids who reach their limits. She works diligently to make sure client bills are accurate and understandable, and is always willing to speak with families to help them understand their therapy benefits. We truly wouldn't be here today without Meghan's dedication to our clinic and her skills navigating the complex world of insurance and healthcare.
