💊 Take your vitamins daily. It’s the simplest & quickest way to bridge the gaps in diets & ensure the body is getting exactly what it’s missing.
💤 Sleep & Stress Management. Both play a massive role in achieving any goal. You wouldn’t let your car run without it getting its check ups, don’t let your body. Your adrenals will thank you.

->Pick your top 2 from your to do list, wake up tomorrow & get both DONE ✔️
->Next create a self care list with things that serve you & fuel you (workout, baking, cooking a new recipe, nails, movie, walk, hike, read) 🧘♀️
->Number 3 choose 1 thing daily from that self care list & do it. No matter what you need to set aside for 30-60 minutes. Watch the energy you have to give back to others go up. 😇
->Take care of yourself physically. Boost your immune system with proper hydration, movement, proper supplements & whole foods. 💦 💊 🍎
->Take a break from the media. Fill your mind with positivity & let that fuel you before you turn it back on. 🙌

5 ways to recover faster from your workouts:
->Active recovery & rest. Walking, yoga, just simply taking a day off.
->Post workout nutrition. Whether it’s a shake or a specific formulated post workout drink. Muscles are starved for fuel after a workout, within about an hour is a great time to refuel & rehydrate
->Fueling your gaps in your nutrition with vitamins & minerals to ensure you’re body isn’t depleted. If the body is constantly depleted it’s going to feel more inflamed & you’re going to feel the difference in your recovery.
->Myofascial release. The benefits of foam rolling (and/or using a lacrosse/ tennis ball) are immense. Aim for 2-4x per week.
->Overall daily protein intake. It’s not just important to get protein in post workout but also throughout the entire day. Being consistent with protein helps to refuel & rebuild muscle.

->Daisy will be teaching Zumba Wednesday & Friday at 10:30am
->Terri will be leading HIIT upper body focus Wednesday & HIIT lower body focus Friday both starting at 5:15am
Classes currently included with a BodyWorks membership or punch card. Free will donation is up to those attending.

Happy Mother’s Day (weekend)! From us at BodyWorks Athletic Club.
In honor of all of the moms and a chance to give back this year we are hosting an event for moms & moms to be Saturday May 22nd at 9am.
This will be a free event with the chance to bring in donations of diapers, wipes and/or formula to donate to Stepping Stones.
If you cannot attend the event we would love to be able to still gather donations to give to those in need 💝
