Did you know that nearly 46% of car seats are installed incorrectly? September is Car Seat Safety Awareness Month, and TruLiving Birth Center wants to help families keep their little ones safe!

At our next Mothers Tea on September 24th, we’ll have certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Abi Waltzer available to check your car seat installation. Spots are limited, so be sure to register here: https://calendar.app.google/uLHGXBnHSwrpShyeA.

At 10:00am, we’ll enjoy Mothers Tea together and hear from Kate Kleven on “Setting Yourself Up for Maximum Rest.”

As the seasons shift and autumn invites us to slow down, we welcome you to join us for our next Mothers Tea: Setting Yourself Up for Maximum Rest with Kate Kleven, a Certified Gentle Sleep Coach and Breastfeeding Specialist from Mama Bear Family Care.

Kate will guide a conversation on normal infant sleep patterns, setting realistic expectations, and the importance of self-nurturing to help families find rhythms of rest that support both parent and baby.

This past weekend, three of our birth assistants and our administrator completed Karen Strange’s Integrative Resuscitation of the Newborn (IRN) course, a training designed specifically for the out-of-hospital birth setting.

Karen’s teaching beautifully blends essential medical knowledge with the wisdom and heart she has gained from a lifetime of caring for mothers and babies. 💕

We’re so proud of our team for always learning, growing, and bringing the very best care to our families!

Join us for TLBC's "Mothers Tea" where Cheryl Berkley from Let Love LLC where we will explore honoring & empowering mothers through all stages of the birthing journey. This event is open to everyone and is a wonderful way to connect to a supportive birthing community. Light refreshments will be served and Birth Center tours will be available throughout the day!

We could NOT serve the families we do without our birth assistants, educators and cheer leaders and this amazing woman is one of them!!

Hannah Nuandorf is an incredible post partum doula, birth assistant and mama of 2 under 2!
