Beacon recognizes and celebrates the work of clinical social workers!

They are a subset of mental health professionals whose focus is more on a "person-in-environment" approach, addressing social, environmental, and systemic factors alongside mental health. Unlike other disciplines, they are more likely to integrate case management to connect clients with community resources.

A few weeks ago, Team Beacon set up a little table with some items to share. As items found a new home, the incredible patrons continued to quietly refill the table. It's been absolutely soul filling to see the kindness flow through our lobby.

Many were happy to know their beloved items would continue to be cherished. Many others commented on the wonderful timing of these gifts to help supplement a tight financial season. Our community is truly incredible!

Thank you to all who participated! The rest of the items have been passed along to a local non-profit to help finish the distribution. Cheers!

This weekend, don't forget to stop by Rassbach Museum for the Wakanda Winter Wonderland event!

Our tree is up, and we got to see the stunning and creative trees from other community organizations. You won't want to miss it!

In the event you can't attend the WWW this weekend, the trees will be on display all month. So, grab a friend or take the family to the museum for some indoor creations and enjoy!
