Last Friday at The Preserve, our amazing Culinary Director treated everyone to a Hot Dog Bar that had the whole community buzzing. With so many toppings to choose from, no two hot dogs were alike—creativity was the star of the day, and every bite was delicious! To make it even better, we celebrated Support Your Favorite Sports Team Day with jerseys, cheers, and plenty of fun. A perfect Friday filled with food, spirit, and smiles! 🌭🎉🏈

This weekend, The Preserve Assisted Living was proud to sponsor and participate in the Lake County Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Lake Metroparks Farmpark.

We dedicated our walk to the incredible residents in our Memory Care unit — and to the families who place their trust in us every day. It’s our privilege to care for your loved ones, and we walk in honor of their strength, their stories, and the journey we share together.

✨ Assisted Living Week was truly unforgettable! ✨

We celebrated our residents and staff with fun themed days (Decades, Country, PJ, Sports, and Hawaiian) each bringing so much laughter. Our courtyard cookout and cookie decorating with the Executive Director were sweet highlights, and vendors made the week even sweeter with treats. Staff enjoyed exciting raffle prizes, thanks to our generous partners.

This year’s overall theme, “The Spirit of Community,” came to life through friendship, fun, and joy shared together. 💕

A carnival in September? Yes, please! We soaked up the sunshine with irresistible treats like root beer floats, Oreo flurries, and dark chocolate raspberry delights. After our sweet stop, we got up close with some adorable (and even a little slithery) creatures.

The best part? Days like this remind us how loved and celebrated we are. At Preserve, there’s always a reason to smile—“just because” is our favorite one!

We’ve done planes, we’ve done trains… and today we set sail on the waters of Lake Erie aboard the Goodtime III! 🚤💨 Our relaxing boat tour gave us a unique look at the history and structures of Cleveland, all while the wind styled our hair in its own way! 😄 We are so thankful to live in a state with so much to enjoy!
